How to create a Distribution list in AdminV2?

Modified on Thu, May 15 at 11:18 PM

Whether you're organizing participants for specific wellness initiatives or managing program communications, creating a custom distribution list helps streamline user management. This article will guide you through the steps to create a custom distribution list.

Steps to Create a Custom Distribution List

  1. Navigate to the Distribution List Page

Go to the User Management section in Admin V2 and click on the Distribution List tab.

  2. Create a New Distribution List

    • Click on the Create Distribution List icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Enter a Name and Description for your new list.

Note: Do not select any options from the Add Users From dropdown or the Gender and Age fields. These options automatically populate the list based on system rules, which is not applicable for custom distribution list.

    • Click on Create Distribution. A confirmation pop-up will appear once the list is successfully created.

Steps to Create a User Specific Distribution List

While it's generally recommended to keep distribution lists manual (without system-based filters), you can still create a user-specific distribution list using the available system fields if needed.

To do this, use the following options while creating or editing a distribution list:

  • Add Users From: Select the user group from the dropdown (e.g., Registered Users, Unregistered Users, etc.) to determine the source of users.

  • Gender: Choose from Male, Female, or Both based on your targeting criteria.

  • Age: Set a specific age range by entering the starting and ending age.

After selecting the necessary filters, click on Create Distribution to generate a list that automatically includes users matching the selected criteria.
