A Fitness Challenge motivates employees to stay active, track their progress, and compete with colleagues by completing fitness goals. Participants aim to achieve daily or overall goals, and the top performers are featured on the leaderboard.
Follow this step-by-step guide to create a Fitness Challenge from your Wellness360 Admin Portal.
1. Log in to the Admin Portal
- Access your company’s Wellness360 Admin Portal.
- Enter your admin credentials and click Login.
2. Access the Challenges Section
- From the left-side menu, click on Programs, then Challenges.
- This opens the Challenges page.
- Click on the + Create Challenge button at the top-right corner to start creating your challenge.
3. Select a Predefined Challenge
- Choose the Fitness Streak category from the list of challenge types. (Other available categories: Stick to Habit, Miscellaneous, and Virtual Journey).
- Browse the available templates and choose one (e.g., “10,000 Steps a Day”).
- Click Select Challenge to load the template.
Note: Predefined challenges come with ready-made goals, themes, and descriptions, making the process faster and easier.
4. Customize the Challenge Details
- Challenge Title: Keep the default title or modify it to reflect your challenge's goal.
- Description: Provide a brief summary or set of instructions for participants.
- Points:
- Toggle Yes to award points.
- Specify the number of points to be awarded for achieving goals.
- Prize:
- Toggle Yes if you wish to offer a prize.
- Describe the prize for the winners.
5. Choose the Challenge Type
- Individual: Participants will join and compete individually.
- Team: You can either allow participants to form their own teams (User Created) or have them assigned to teams by the admin (Admin Assigned).
6. Add Visual Elements
- Challenge Header: Choose or upload an image that will be displayed at the top of the challenge dashboard.
- Challenge Thumbnail: Choose or upload an image that will be displayed on the challenge card under Active, Upcoming, or Completed challenges.
- Click Next after selecting your images.
7. Configure the Fitness Mode & Metrics
- Fitness Mode: By default, this is set to track few m. You can modify it if needed.
- Metrics: Choose the metric to track for your challenge:
- Steps
- Minutes
- Distance
- Calories
- Daily Goal: For example, if you select Steps, set a daily target (e.g., 10,000 steps).
- Target Mode: If enabled, this sets an overall goal for the challenge (e.g., 100,000 steps) to be completed before the challenge ends. Participants do not need to meet daily goals in this mode.
8. Set Challenge Dates & Enrollment
- Enrollment Dates: Define the period when participants can register for the challenge.
- Challenge Dates: Set the start and end dates for the challenge.
- Enrollment Type: Choose between:
- Open (default): Any user in the organization can join.
- Closed: Only selected categories or user groups can join.
9. Create the Challenge
- Review all your settings.
- Click Create to publish it.
- The challenge will be listed under Upcoming Challenges if it hasn’t started, or under Active Challenges if it's live.
10. Preview, Edit, or Delete the Challenge
- After creating the challenge, navigate to Active or Upcoming Challenges to preview it.
- You can also modify or delete the challenge if necessary.
