How to Cancel or Decline a Friend Request?

Although the idea of allowing Friend Requests through the wellness program is to improve social wellbeing amongst co-workers, there could be times when users might have to cancel or delete any Friend Requests.


When a user sends a friend request but wishes to retract it, they can cancel the friend request they had sent out.


On the other hand, if a user does not want to accept a certain friend request sent by another co-worker, they can decline the friend request.


This can be done from the web portal or the MyHealthPlus mobile app.


Canceling From the User Portal:

1. Log into the web portal.

2. Click on the Friends icon at the top right and then on 'Find Friends' to land on the 'Find Friends' page.


3. Find the friend to whom you have sent the request and want to cancel it. If you have already sent the request to a specific user, it will show as 'Request Sent' under their name.

4. Click on the friend's name to open their profile. Under their profile photo, click on the dropdown showing 'Request Sent'.

5. Click on 'Cancel Request' in the dropdown to retract the sent friend request.


6. The friend request will be canceled.

 

Declining From the MyHealthPlus mobile app:

1. Log into the MyHealthPlus mobile app.

2. Click on the bell icon at the top right to find the Friend Request notifications.

3. The notification bell icon can also be found in the Profile section from the left menu panel.

4. The Friend Request will have options to Accept or Reject the invite.


5. Tap on ‘Reject’ to decline the received friend request.
